There is nothing like a linen blazer in summer. The simple neutral tones, the lightweight fabric, right down to the shape and silhouette it creates; you cannot go without this item.
Linen has always been a firm favourite in stores for the warmer months – it’s breathable and lightweight, reasonably affordable to produce well is guaranteed to be a winner with any generation – this combination means it’s not a hard fabric to find but this season it has exploded even more than usual onto our highstreets.
For the minimal lovers out there, I’ve got you covered with the best linen blazers on the highstreet listed below. When shopping for this basic, look for quality and shape – linen isn’t the best for keeping structure so you want a blazer that’s lined and generally has shoulder pads (this is often the first area to drop).
For a structured linen blazer, I prefer it to be single breasted as you will more often than not wear it open with the sleeves pulled up (like in my pics). If you’re going for a relaxed and unstructured fit, double breasted will be better for you.
