Brand Talk | Caudalie

Two beauty posts in a row...I know! What is going on!!??? I guess I feel I've been lacking in the beauty department recently and so I thought I'd do a Brand Talk on a fantastic brand that I've been loving lately...Caudalie.

What are the must have products from Caudalie I hear you ask...well, there are a couple of items getting quite a cult status, the first being the foaming cleanser featured in this post and then there are a few others snapping at its heels (the eye cream being apparently very hydrating!). I'd been meaning to try something from the brand for a while and (conveniently) ran our of night cream. As always I did my research and looked up the best night creams and found that the Resveratrol was exceptionally reviewed, but the more I researched I just came to the conclusion that it was aimed at a slightly older market; fortunately there was an alternative (that happened to be £10 cheaper too!).

Vinoperfect

So this is what I found. It has great reviews on a number of beauty sites and, despite it's size, you really only need a small amount so it seems to last. It's not the heaviest of creams but I put it on after a night oil so it glides on and feels like a spa for my face. The smell isn't too strong either - I hate over perfumed products, they just irritate my skin, but then it's not fragrance free. The packaging is also super sleek and the big thumbs up from me comes from the fact that it's a squeezy bottle. I really hate the pots where you dip your finger in - firstly it gets under your nails and secondly it's really not hygienic!

Foaming cleanser

So I was a bit naughty and added this to my order (I wanted the free beauty box from Look Fantastic) and so far I'm rather pleased. It definitely doesn't quite live up to the same standards as the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish but seems to do just as good a job as my Elemis Biotech that I was/am using. Foaming cleansers can be notoriously irritating for the skin but I don't find that this one does.

Have you tried Caudalie? What products are you loving right now?

Did you know I'm on Youtube?
